Advertising disclosure
StarHolidays is free to read. This page explains how we intend to pay for it, and how we keep that money separate from what we write.

How we make money
We plan to fund this site through display advertising, including Google AdSense. An advertising network chooses most of the ads you see, based on things such as the page's topic and, where you've allowed it, your interests. We may earn money when ads are displayed or clicked.
We don't sell insurance, and we don't currently earn commission from insurers. If we ever add affiliate links or sponsored content, we'll label them clearly and update this page.
An ad is not a recommendation
Because this site covers insurance, you may see ads from insurers or comparison sites. We don't choose, review or endorse those advertisers. Seeing an ad here doesn't mean we recommend that company or product, and they haven't influenced our content. Always check who's selling a policy and read its terms before you buy.
How we keep ads separate
- Ads are labeled "Advertisement" where we control the placement.
- Ads are placed so that they're clearly distinct from our articles and our navigation.
- We don't encourage you to click on ads, and we never reward anyone for doing so.
- Advertisers can't pay for favorable coverage, and they can't review or change our work.
Your choices
You can read about how advertising cookies work, and the choices you have, in our cookie policy and privacy policy. You can also manage personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings.
Questions
If you have a question about an ad, or if you see one that seems misleading, please let us know. It's helpful if you can include the page and a screenshot.
